Steps to Replace an Anchor

1. You can rent a concrete core drill at many rental shops.
2. Core drill a hole about 1" larger than the anchor.
3. Once the old anchor is removed, install the rail or ladder before you cement in the new anchor. This will keep the anchor properly positioned.
4. Thoroughly clean the hole.
5. You can use epoxy, or better yet, use hydraulic cement. Hydraulic cement is good in that it cures quickly, but more importantly it expands, locking the anchor in place.
