Do you have a cloudy pool? If yes, this is the perfect product for you.
This uniquely formulated product was designed for busy commercial pools that can’t afford to close when they have a cloudy pool. This will clear up cloudy residential pools as well. Typically you need to raise the chlorine level in a pool to about 10 PPM to clear up a cloudy pool. Then you have to lower the chlorine level typically back under 5 PPM to resume use of the pool. This product, being a non-chlorine based chemical, doesn’t require pool closure unless the pool is so cloudy you shouldn’t use the pool. The typical rule of thumb is if you can clearly see the main drain, you can use the pool. However, don’t add this, or any chemical to a pool while swimmers are present. Swimmers can enter the pool shortly after adding this product. You must close the pool if you can’t see the bottom of the pool for safety reasons. Problem Pools is a complex formulation of clarifiers that should work on all types of matter in the pool. It is simple to use, and should work 100% of the time, assuming your pump and filter are working correctly. Busy commercial pools can use this product in advance of busy periods to keep their pool clear. This product is also idea for bromine pools that cloud up. Add this product any time the pool shows signs of turning cloudy.
NOTE: This product may keep your water clear, but you must maintain your chlorine or bromine levels high enough to provide adequate disinfection. It is the disinfectant that keeps your water safe to swim in preventing recreational water illnesses.
Do you have a cartridge filter?
If yes, you likely need to change the cartridge. Old cartridge filters just can’t filter as well as new cartridge filters, thus you are more likely to end up with a cloudy pool.
We recommend running your pump continuously while your pool is cloudy and try to maintain your chlorine at 3-5 PPM. You should also adjust your pH to 7.4 to 7.5. This will help clear your pool as well.
Also maintain:
- Alkalinity about 100 ppm
- Calcium on a pool, 200 to 400 ppm
- Calcium on a spa, 150 to 250 ppm
- For outdoor pools and spas using chlorine, maintain your cyanuric acid from 30 to 50 ppm
Dose:
- If you can see the bottom of the pool but the pool is cloudy, add 1 ounce per 1,000 gallons.
- If you can’t see the bottom of the pool add 2 ounces per 1,000 gallons.
- Add 1 ounce per 2,000 gallons per week to help prevent a cloudy pool.
